Organic Skincare Series | Cleansers

mssSkincare2.jpgThe first, and most important aspect of a skincare routine, is cleansing your face. Toners, serums, and moisturizers would be useless without washing your face before applying them. It is SO important to deeply cleanse off any makeup and dead skin before toning and moisturizing your face in order to get the full effect of the products. We have several facial cleansers that we offer, 5 specialty bar soaps and a cream cleanser. They are all awesome products and serve different purposes. I outline a few of them in the cleanser video that I personally use daily, but this blog will go into further detail about each and every facial cleanser that we offer.

Tea Tree & Clay Bar Soap:

ttcThis bar soap is a powerhouse. It is our best-selling soap, and for a good reason! It is made with our basic oil mix: natural unrefined shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. These oils will deeply moisturize your skin as you wash. This soap is packed with the healing benefits of tea tree oil, also known as melaleuca oil. This oil is found in Australia, and has TONS of skin healing benefits. The best uses of this soap are for acne, eczema, psoriasis, and basically helps to clear up any skin rash/irritation. This soap also contains rhassoul clay. This Moroccan clay absorbs impurities from your skin so they can be cleansed away. The tea tree oil cleanses & heals the skin after the clay removes all of the impurities from deep within your pores. This clay will remove impurities, clear blackheads, unclog your pores, and clarify your skin and restore your skin’s elasticity. All of these benefits make this soap the perfect facial cleanser.

Pure & Simple Soap:

Now, as awesome as the tea tree & clay soap is, it is important to switch up your skincare puresimpleroutine so that your skin does not get used to the soap and start to be immune to the soaps skin benefitting effects. That is why I advocate that everyone chooses two soaps to use on their face, in order to switch up their skincare routine and really get the most out of the products. A good soap to use every two days, in-between using the Tea Tree & Clay soap, is the Pure and Simple Soap. This soap is just a pure, basic soap. The base of this soap is our natural, unrefined shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil blend. It contains a full 30% of the natural, unrefined shea butter, so your skin will reap all the awesome skin moisturizing benefits of the oil.

EggCeptional Bar Soap:

eggsoapEach batch of our EggCeptional soap contains 12 eggs! Its base is our basic oil mix. This soap is great for oily skin and fights the signs of aging. The eggs tighten pores and hair follicles that are the source of secreting too much oil. The egg whites in the soap are full of protein, and tone and help soothe out wrinkles. This soap would be a great addition to the tea tree & clay soap, if you have oily skin that is also acne-prone! The combination of the two would certainly clear your skin and help reduce the oil!

Avocado Lime Bar Soap:

Another awesome cleanser is our Avocado Lime Soap. This soap contains cold pressed avocado oil and the pure essential oil of lime. Avocado oil is a rich source ofavocadolime
monounsaturated fatty acids. These acids are known to effect the texture and appearance of your skin. This soap will hydrate, soften and improve your skin’s complexion. This soap is great for mature skin, dry skin, and for acne-prone skin. This soap can help treat and heal acne, remove blackheads, and soothe eczema breakouts.

Sea Fresh Salt Soap:

Our salt soap is a miracle worker in my opinion. It contains 10 pounds of Himalayan sea salt per

batch! The Himalayan salt is a super powerful detoxifier. When it combines with warm water during cleansing, it works to draw toxins out of your skin. While the impurities are being drawn out, the salt infuses your skin with its minerals to leave your skin soft, refreshed and energized. This soap is my favorite to use twice a week with my tea tree & clay soap to clear out any blemishes that appear. Because it does contain so much salt, it can be super drying to the skin, so I advise to use extra moisturizer to make up for this. This soap by far as the best skin clearing effects I have found from any soap, and has cleared blemishes of mine over night!

Supreme Facial Cleanser:

Supreme Facial Cleanser

The supreme facial cleanser is our cleanser for maturing skin. This non-foaming cream cleanser gently cleanses skin while it also moisturizes and nourishes skin. This cleanser is best for people with extremely dry skin, mature and delicate skin who do not want to lose any moisture while they wash. I personally love to use this cream cleanser around the delicate skin near my eyes.  This cleanser is packed with high quality ingredients to safely cleanse and balance mature skin leaving it soft, silky and moisturized.

This moisturizing cleanser has soothing Organic Aloe and antioxidant rich Organic Rooibos, Organic Olive, Coconut and Jojoba Oils. It also contains rosehip, cranberry oil and vitamin A rich carrot oil too. It packs in the super anti-aging benefits of DMAE and MSM to literally soothe out wrinkles, fade dark spots and heal any skin blemish. This cleanser has it all, and will make your skin look so much younger!

Those are all the amazing skin cleansers that we offer! Feel free to ask me any questions, or even leave comments about your experience with these products!

With Love,

Miss Selby
